Blake At Hamlin, The

Hamlin, the newer master-planned section of Winter Garden built around a growing town center in western Orange County, is home to The Blake at Hamlin, a 114-bed community on Hamlin Grove Trail. A facility of that size is a large campus, typically with enough staff and physical space to run separate programming tracks for residents with different care needs and a dining program with real variety. Hamlin's rapid development over the past decade, driven partly by its proximity to the Disney corridor without being a tourist area itself, has brought substantial new senior housing to the area. On a tour of a community this size, ask how recently the facility opened and how its staffing has stabilized since then, since newer large communities can see more turnover early on.
