Westminster Baldwin Park

Baldwin Park is a New Urbanist neighborhood built in the early 2000s on the site of the former Orlando Naval Training Center, laid out around Lake Baldwin with walkable streets and a traditional town-center design, and Westminster Baldwin Park operates a 24-bed assisted living facility at 2645 Lake Baldwin Ln within it. Two dozen beds is enough for the facility to likely offer more than a single shared living room, though it remains far smaller than Orlando's largest senior communities. Baldwin Park's walkability and mixed-use design are unusual for a Central Florida neighborhood, and some families like the idea of a parent seeing tree-lined streets and a lake rather than a commercial corridor. A worthwhile question is how much of that neighborhood access residents can actually use, versus how much time is spent inside the facility.
